Thailand Trip – Temple Palace, Floating Market and Tiger Temple

In May I was in Thailand and I was lucky enough to be able to do a little sightseeing.  The first stop was the Temple Palace where everything that is the color gold is actual gold, which was amazing.  The next stop was the floating market, very crowded was worth going to.  The final place was Tiger Temple, a Buddhist temple.  This was by far the best place for me.  I went thinking I would be able to touch a tiger but you are able to not only touch but also sit and have their head in your lap and watch them being exercised.  I spent five hours there and I could have stayed longer but they were closing.  Let me know what you think.

Challenge – June 1-30

I turn 50 this week and my partner asked me to take a photo a day and pot it on here for the whole month of my birthday.  I might not get them posted on a daily basis because of traveling but I will take a photo a day.  To start I am posting a photo of a tiger that I actually took last weekend but I want this one to start it off because it was such an amazing visit to the Tiger Temple in Thailand.

1st Meeting for Siblings

My partner, who is adopted, has recently found his biological sister.  They have chatted on the phone and Facebook but have never met.  For his 40th birthday I decided to bring her to his party as a surprise so they cold actually meet.  He was totally shocked to see her sitting in his salon.  It was a great reunion and they were the hit of the party, everyone wanting to meet his sister.  These are just two pictures I took to commemorate the meeting.  They both look very happy. I love you both and I am so glad you found each other.
